LAHORE – A division bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi on Wednesday granted bail to pilot of a private airline, Ismat Mehmood accused of flying plane under the influence of alcohol.
The division bench of the LHC ordered to release him on two surety bonds of Rs 500,000 each. Earlier, the counsel of the applicant submitted before the court that the anti terrorism court had removed the sections of terrorist act from the case.
The counsel further said that his client was facing the charge of drinking liquor which was a bailable offence.
