JACOBABAD: A young woman and her alleged paramour were killed in firing by her husband over the pretext of Karo-Kari (honour killing) in the limits of Sadar Police Station in Jacobabad district on Monday. According to SHO Sadar Police Station Ayaz Ahmed Pathan, Zenab, aged 30, and her alleged paramour identified as Ali Hassan Jakhrani, aged 32, were killed by the woman’s husband Muhammad Saleem Rind. The deceased were working in agricultural field outside village Dost Muhammad Rind when this incident happened, however the murderer managed to escape. The area police took the bodies to District Headquarters Hospital Jacobabad for post-mortem examination, and after that the bodies were handed over to their heirs. Meanwhile, the police have arrested Muhammad Saleem Rind and recovered TT pistol from his possession, said SHO Ayaz Pathan.
