KARACHI: The Karachi polices claimed on Wednesday to have arrested 10 suspects and seized ammunitions.
On the disclosures of arrested gang leader Asif Chita, the police raided his hide outs in Chancer Goth, Bengali Para and recovered huge cache of ammunitions including bullets and grenades and arrested 6 other suspects.
The police have also discovered the torture cell of key gangster and recovered torture equipment. The torture cell is being used to torture abducted citizens. Separately on tip-off the law enforcement agencies have carried out Combing Operation in the Super Highway area and arrested four terrorists affiliated with a banned outfit.
The law enforcement agencies have also recovered huge cache of ammunitions including explosive material, bullets and suicide jackets. The alleged militants were planning to hit religious and political figures. The identity of suspects could not be ascertained immediately.
The law enforcement agencies have shifted them to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
