LAHORE: Punjab Government MPA Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership would not be allowed to make the nation hostage.
In a press statement, he said that Imran Khan had become frustrated over repeated political failures and opted to the way of violence instead of politics. He categorically stated that since the state was responsible for protection of life and property of its people, it would take every step to foil all the attempts to seige the capital.
He said that political hypocrisy of Imran had fully been exposed to the people. He alleged that Imran and his companions wanted to take control of the country by becoming terrorists, instead of politicians. Zaeem said that Pakhtun brethren were patriotic Pakistanis.
He made it clear that no one would be allowed to occupy the state, adding those indulging in chaos and anarchy were not after accountability, but dead bodies. The spokesman said that Sheikh Rashid Ahmed would be chased until he mended his ways.
