PESHAWAR – Special Adviser on Minority Affairs MPA Sardar Soran Singh on Friday shot dead by ‘unidentified’ assailants in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The minority politician was attacked outside his home in Pir Baba area of the district. The reason for the killing is not known yet, as there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Soran, a leading Sikh activist, was a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is home to a sizeable Sikh population.
